June Frances Sanders, age 85, of Harrodsburg died Sunday, November 16, 2025 at home in Harrodsburg. Born June 1, 1940 in Harrodsburg, KY, she is the daughter of the late Owen Nelson and Anna Belle (Royalty) Sanders.

Frances had worked at Cricketeer, Hall Mack and L/N Glass before finishing her working years at Burley Tobacco Growers Coop, Lexington, KY. She was a member of the Bohon Church of Christ. She loved working puzzles, talking with her neighbors on her porch, watching TV, and was an avid UK Basketball fan.

She is survived by: two sons, Jonathan Clay Sanders(Amy Truglio) of Jamestown, KY and Sean Christopher Sanders of Harrodsburg, KY; one daughter, Mary Beth Kiger(Derry) of Versailles, KY; three sisters, Peggy (Jerry) Burns of Harrodsburg, KY, Becky Gooch of Richmond, KY and Donna Sanders of Harrodsburg, KY; four grandchildren, Benjamin and Emma Sanders(Sean); Edwin J. Rye, Elizabeth J. Woods(Michael), and three great grandchildren Ella, Quin and Gentry Woods.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth E. Sanders , Harold Wayne Sanders & R.C. Sanders and three sisters, Wanda Wollcott, Debbie Sadler, and Jo Ann Burton.

She was lovingly cared for by her sisters and Sean, who became live in caregiver, as she declined in health. A special thanks to two of her closest friends, Bonnie Tingle and Sherry Drury, both of whom visited, called and cared for Frances all the days of their friendships. The family is forever grateful.

A private memorial will be scheduled.
