Marsha Jane King, 73, wife of Calvin King Jr., died Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born February 14, 1952, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Vera (Land) Simmons. Marsha was a homemaker and attended Southside Christian Church. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens, watching television, playing Bingo, and most of all she loved Shelby, her Chihuahua.

In addition to her husband Calvin King Jr., survivors include: two sisters: Diana Simmons and Edna Simmons Spain, and one brother: Robert (Gayle) Simmons; Several Nieces & Nephews, including Amber Nichole Griffin, Tim Griffin and Chris Johns. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas & Jerry Simmons.

Marsha and family have chose cremation and have no formal services planned at this time.
