Elsie Jean Dennis, age 81, of Harrodsburg KY, widow of Harold Thomas Dennis, died Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born June 3, 1944 in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Joseph Daniel “J.D.” Elsie (Medley) Dennis. She was a member of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and retired as a shipping clerk for Eaton Corporation.

She is survived by one daughter: Tammy (Danny) Holliday of Harrodsburg, KY; four sisters: Shirley Cooley, Betty Jo Finley, Brenda Riley and Debra Mink, and one brother: Danny Riley; five grandchildren: Jeanie (Jason) Sanford, Andrew (Kate) Potts, Kayla Sizemore, Corey (Hannah) Dennis and Carl Dennis; and eighteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Son, Tommy Joe Dennis, and Son, Harold Dewayne Dennis.

Graveside service will be at 11am on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Burner's Chapel Baptist Cemetery, 5346 Mackville Rd, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 with family officiating. Burial will follow after the service.
