Gina Johns, age 63, widow of Lindsay Barton Johns, of Nicholasville, KY, died Friday, December 26, 2025 at Baptist Health Hardin of Elizabethtown, KY. Gina was born March 22, 1962, in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Isaac D. “Ike” and Martha (Cheak) Watts.

Gina was a retired, longtime [31 year] faithful employee of R.J. Corman Railroad Group, serving primarily as Accounts Payable Manager. She cherished her R. J. Corman family. She also attended Southland Christian Church, was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters and Gigi to her grandchildren.

She is survived by: two daughters, Lindsay (William) Johns Redington of Loveland, OH and Whitney (Ashton) Johns Brigden of Nicholasville, KY; one sister, Lisa (Brent) Jennings of Nicholasville, KY; three grandchildren, Madelynn Rahna Redington, Mason James Brigden, and Emery Kate Redington; a niece, Faith Jennings; Loving Companion, Greg Canter of Ft. Smith, AR.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 am, Friday, January 2, 2026, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY with Tyson Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 1st from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and after 10 am Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers are: Chad Rainwater, William Redington. Nick Edelen, Matt Johnson, William Morris Cheak, Landon Brown, Brent Jennings, and Tim Hearley. Honorary bearers are: Ashton Brigden, Greg Canter, and Mason Brigden.
