Wilna Mizner Thompson, 88, widow of Lonnie Rhea Thompson of Salvisa, KY, died Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born January 27, 1937, in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ada (Mizner) Dawson. Wilna retired as an Auditing Technologist for Kentucky Department Of Transportation and was a member of the Hebron Independent Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her son: Todd Thompson of Salvisa, KY; Grandson, Eli (Chrissy) Thompson of Salvisa, KY; Four Great Grand Children, Elise, Cason, Garrett & Nora Thompson. Wilna was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Thompson, two sons; Carroll Gene and Eddie Lee Thompson and her siblings Charles Allen Dawson and Ann Dawson Morris.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday; January 5, 2026 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Justin Johnson and George Dye. Burial will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation will also be at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 11 am - 2 pm Monday.

Pall Bearers are: Lynn Royalty, Danny Hanks, Dallas Daniels, Mark Miller, Joe Morris and Alan Thomas. Honorary Bearers are: Ralph Morris and Family, John Alvin Goodlett and Family.
