Elizabeth May Hardin, age 93, of Harrodsburg, widow of Charles A. Hardin, died Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Danville Center for Health in Danville, KY of a short illness. Born June 2, 1932 in Harrodsburg, KY to the late Hugh B. and Lizzie (Cox) Robinson. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and she worked at Cricketeer Manufacturing for 30 years. After the factory shut down she started going to cooking school. She loved to cook. She then started working for Bright Leaf Hotel for 18 years. She found a new passion when she started working on her family history. Elizabeth would work for hours at a time doing research. Her mind was still sharp up to the moment of her death as she could recite ancestor names, dates of births and deaths.
She was survived by her daughter Kym Hardin of Harrodsburg KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Hardin and all of her siblings. She was the last of her siblings to pass.
There will be a private visitation and mass held. A Facebook live will take place on Ransdell Funeral Chapel Facebook page at 11am Thursday January 8, 2025, for all those who would like to watch.
