Freddie Ray Raider, Jr., age 55, of Hustonville KY, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born June 20, 1970 in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Freddie Ray Raider Sr. and the late Georgia A. (Baugh) Hartman. He worked in maintenance for Timberland for many years. Freddie enjoyed demolition derbies, hunting, fishing, raising chickens, social events and music. He loved rebuilding cars and from what they say you could not find anyone better to rebuild transmissions.

He is survived by two daughters: Samantha Raider and Rachel (Luke) Mullins all of Hustonville, KY; two sisters: Anita (Steve) Cheatham and Tanya Raider and one brother: Jeffery (Teresa) Raider; four grandchildren; Caroline Mullins, Leeah Baker, Zayne Baker and Benjamin Mullins and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Freddie Ray Raider Sr., mother Georgia A. Hartman and sister Tiffany Hartman.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Saturday January 17, 2026 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 with Carl McCray officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be Saturday January 17, 2026 from 11am-2pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Luke Mullins, Jeffery Raider, Roy Baugh II, Steve Cheatham, Stephen Cheatham and Michael Hampton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Lane, Zayne Baker, Benjamin Mullins and Carlos Galan.

Memorials are suggested to Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St. Harrodsburg KY, 40330 to assist his daughters with final arrangements.
