Freda Geri Douglas, age 73, wife of Stevan Paul Douglas, of Lawrenceburg KY, died Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY. Born April 10, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, KY, to the late Thomas and Mary (Hoskins) Drury. Freda was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending as much time as possible with her family.

She is survived by her husband: Stevan Paul Douglas and one son, Stevan Tracy Douglas both of Lawrenceburg, KY; three sisters: Marlene Patsy Peach, Betty Jean Haydon and Glenda Rose Crigger, and one brother: Marcus (Emma) Drury; one sister in law, Doris Drury; sister and brother in law, Stanley (LuAnn) Douglas; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Freda Tavis Douglas, Brother, Ronnie Drury, brother in law’s, John Peach, JR Haydon and Dempsy Crigger.

Funeral Service will be 11am Tuesday March 3, 2026 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg KY 40330, by John McDaniel and Hilary Claypool. Burial to follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery, S Main St. Lawrenceburg KY 40330. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Monday March 2, 2026.

Pallbearers: Ricky Drury, Dennis Peach, Clark Peach, Joe Peters, Allan Haydon and Keith Haydon. Honorary Pallbearers: Senior Lady's at Mt. Freedom Baptist Church.
