Susan Charnell Frances King, age 78, wife of Robert “Wayne” King, of Lawrenceburg KY, died Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born March 4, 1948 in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Charles O. and Thelma (Sacra) Nichols. She was a member of Lawrenceburg Church of Christ and was an Accountant for the Kentucky State Government for many years. Susan enjoyed scrap booking, in which her family has plenty of albums to cherish and doing family Genealogy.

She is survived by her husband: Wayne King, one son: Michael Wayne (Tammy) King all of Lawrenceburg, KY; one brother: B. Tom Nichols of Harrodsburg, KY; two grandchildren: John Charles "J.C." King and Creed King.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
