Barbara Jane Browning, age 85, widow of Othel L. Browning, of Mackville KY, died Friday, April 3, 2026 at Harrodsburg Health & Rehab in Harrodsburg, KY. Born October 3, 1940 in Harrodsburg, KY to the late George Jenkins and Nona Louallen. She was a member of Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church and was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville KY for many years. Jane enjoyed listening to Gospel music, reading books and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters: Sharon (Ted) Lewis, Allison Patton and Sheree Browning, and one son: Eddie (Kathy) Browning; eight grandchildren; Heather (Waylon) Robertson, Heath (Hannah) Caton, Evan Browning, Erin Browning, Ethan Masters, Mason Patton, Austin Patton and Zachary Patton; two great grandchildren, Grace & Lane Robertson, two more great grandchildren on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Othel L. Browning and her four sisters Ruth Bailey, Violet Abrams, Josephine Cook and Treva Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be 11am-1pm Thursday April 9, 2026 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel 345 E. Lexington St. Harrodsburg KY, 40330.
