Dana Marie (Ritchey) Nichols, 54, of Lawrenceburg, KY, wife of Nathan Edmond Nichols, died Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her home after years of battling multiple sclerosis. Dana was born October 25, 1971, in Versailles; she was the daughter of Clyde and Sue (Murphy) Ritchey. Dana graduated from Anderson County High School and went to EKU, she worked for the state and Wal-Mart before the MS reared its head for the next 22+ years. She was a member of the Alton Christian Church in Lawrenceburg.

In addition to her husband Nathan, other survivors include: one daughter: Natalie Marie Nichols; her parents Clyde and Sue (Murphy) Ritchey; one sister: T.J. McElroy of Lawrenceburg, KY; Nephew, Austin Taylor; her best friend, Tony.

Funeral services will be at 1 pm Friday; April 10th at the Alton Christian Church, 1686 Old Frankfort Rd, Lawrenceburg, by Noel Cotton Jr. and Bailey Miller. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday and 10 am - 1 pm Friday, also at the church.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Nichols, Allen Nichols, Austin Taylor, Margaret Ann Cotton, Blake Clines, Brain Hughes, Rodney Sutton and Walker Maynard.
