Margaret Louise Lowe, age 88, widow of Larry Allen Lowe, of Harrodsburg died Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg, KY. Born June 28, 1937 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Luther Leslie Dial and Helen Louise (Stanley) Dial Patton. She was a member of Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church, Adult Ladies’ S.S. Class and Willing Workers Group. Margaret was a graduate of Huntington East High, were she was member of the National Honor Society, was active in Sports, especially ice skating. She was a life member of the Mercer County Homemakers and served as chairperson of the Floral Hall Exhibits for many years.

She is survived by five daughters: Lou Ann Hill of Harrodsburg, KY, Watonda Sue (Larry) Dean of Willisburg, KY, Angela Kay (William) Reed of Harrodsburg, KY, Rhonda (Keith) Osburn of Stamping Ground, KY and a special daughter, Brandy Dean of Harrodsburg, KY; two sons: James Lane of Wayne, W. VA and Anthony Carter of Harrodsburg, KY; two sisters: Carolyn (Richard) Mullens of Lavalette, W.VA and Gloria (Ken) Cathell of Creve Coeur, MO; She also has nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, Remi Paige Hollings; two nieces, Becky Doden, Bend, OR, and Carrie Meyer, Baldwin, MO.

She is preceded in death by her Special Sis, Glendon Followell, Special Friend, Shannon Short, Brothers, William L. Dial, Brother and Charles F. Dial, Grandchildren, Amanda Dawn Sherrill, and Tiffany Louise Hill.

The funeral will be held 11 am Tuesday April 14, 2026 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY with Jordan Ashbury officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be Monday April 13, 2026 from 4 pm-8pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Donald Logue, Clinton Peavler, James Booth, Marlin Followell, Norman Hahn and Lynn Nichols.
