Robert Wade “Bobby” Huffman, age 83, of Salvisa KY died Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, KY. Born July 17, 1942 in Lebanon, KY to the late James H. and Ola Mae (Rinehart) Huffman, during his childhood years he lived in Cornishville KY. Bobby was a graduate of Mercer County High School, class of 1960. He Retired from Commonwealth of Kentucky, where he was a public servant for 38 years.

Bobby was a lifetime member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Anderson County Sportsman Club. He was honored to be commissioned to Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed his Elk and moose hunting trips with his friends; where he harvested one of each. Bobby was a avid gun and knife trader, gun collector, fisherman and spent countless hours doing research on any and everything.

He is survived by one son: Keith (Angie) Huffman of Harrodsburg, KY; one daughter: Kimberly Huffman of Salvisa, KY and one brother: Paul Huffman and one brother in law, Orban Mayes both of Harrodsburg, KY; two nephews, Chris and Jarrod Mayes of Richmond, KY; and the mother of his children, Bonnie C. Wyrick of Salvisa, KY.

Memorial Service will be 2pm Thursday May 28, 2026 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street Harrodsburg KY, 40330 with Rocky and Denise Wallace officiating. Visitation will be Thursday May 28, 2026 from 1pm-2pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
