Catherine Olson, age 71, widow of Bobby Moore, of Harrodsburg KY died Monday, June 15, 2026, at home in Harrodsburg KY. Born August 10, 1954, in Lexington, KY. Born to the late Cecil David and Matha Rosetta (Saylor) Byrd. She was of the Baptist faith and was a former employee at Donnelly and associate at Walmart. Catherine enjoyed camping, gardening, watching humming birds, her dogs and most of all spending time with her grandkids
She is survived by one daughter: Robin Ellis of Harrodsburg, KY; four sisters: Ada Cole of Lexington, KY, Lizzie Farler of Lawrenceburg KY, Margaret Currens of Nicholasville, KY, and Lucy Frith of Lawrenceburg, KY; one brother: David Byrd of Crab Orchard, KY; four grandchildren, Katie, Sandra, Austin & Sarah and fourteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Curtis Berryman, Brother, Cecil Red" Byrd and Brother, Johnny Byrd.
The funeral will be held at 1pm on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Kent Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Keene Cemetery in Nicholasville KY. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
