Gary Ernest Devine, 71, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Linda Lanum Devine, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at his home in Harrodsburg KY. Born September 10, 1954, in Danville KY, he was the son of the late Garfield and Chloe (Evans) Devine. He was co-owner and operator of SDS Employment Service in Danville KY. Gary enjoyed deer hunting and playing golf.

In addition to his wife, Linda survivors include a son: John Sharp Devine of Harrodsburg, KY; Grand Children, Tyler Shannon Devine, Jaclyn Rae Devine, John Sharp Devine Jr, Jack Devine; Great Grandchild, Evie Devine; two sisters: Patti Devine Bryant of AL and Cindy Devine of Harrodsburg, KY, and two brothers: Pete (Cheryl) Kramer of ID and Scott Devine of Lexington, KY, Several Nieces & Nephews. Gary was preceded in death by their son, Clay Shannon Devine.

Funeral services will be conducted by Br. Phil Yates, Monday, June 22 at 1 pm at the Ransdell funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will also be Monday 11 am - 1 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
