LUCILLE MAE PRESTON
Lucille Mae Preston, age 81, 600 Jackson Pike, died Saturday, July 5th at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital after an illness. Born January 31, 1922 in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late William Elbert and Virginia Belle Larkin Preston. She was a self-employed home health caregiver and a member of the Joseph Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Charles Preston and his wife Betty of Harrodsburg and a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gary Story, burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and after 7:30 AM Tuesday at the chapel.
Pallbearers are James Moore, Raymond Waits, Donald Ball, Larry Taylor, Earl Watts, and James Larson.
Memorials are suggested to the Joseph Chapel Methodist Church.
