Lloyd I. Myers, 78, of 928 Ridgeway, Harrodsburg, KY died Wednesday March 26, 2003 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.

Born April 26, 1924 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence and Florence Myers.

Mr. Myers was a Salesman for Mohawk & Howard Carpenter Carpet. He was a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church, where he was an Elder. Lloyd was also a member of the Mercer Masonic Lodge # 777 F & AM, Oleika Shrine, Harrodsburg Lions Club, American Legion and the V.F.W.. He served in the Army during WWII, where he received the Purple Heart, and was a former Prisoner of War in Germany.

Funeral services will be held 02:00 PM Saturday March 29, 2003 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, with Phil Williams officiating. Burial, with military rites will be in the Bohon Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be at the chapel from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday with Masonic Rites at 07:30 PM.
