Obituary of Lula B. Taylor

Lula B. Taylor, age 86, Harrodsburg, widow of Lawrence Edward Taylor died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY. Born January 16, 1922 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late A. H. and Zora Hendren Norton. She was a Member of the Joseph Chapel Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, member of the W.S.C.S, and Young People's Sponsor for many years. Survivors include: one daughter: Jackie Hilbert of Harrodsburg, and three sons: Larry Ray Taylor and Floyd Douglas Taylor of Harrodsburg, William Edward Taylor of Versailles, one brother: Elwood Norton of Harrodsburg, eleven grandchildren, fourteen Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 PM Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Gill Duffee and Matt Robins officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Kehl Hilbert, Patrick Hilbert, Scott Taylor, Chad Taylor, Eric Taylor, and Lawrance Ray Taylor. Honorary bearers: Boyd Long, Roger Long, Glen Norton, Dennis Norton, Jerry Norton, Dr. Mohammad Shahzad, Dr. Paul Deluca, Jess Spaulding. Visitation will be Sunday, March 23 from after 5:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Joseph Chapel Methodist Church.
