Sara Frances Lester, age 97, Harrodsburg, widow of Hanley Lester, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born March 21, 1911 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Gertrude Sims Devine. She was retired from Cricketeer Mfg. Co. and a member of the Bruners Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter: Chloe (Connie) Horn of and one son: William Winfield Lester both of Harrodsburg, one sister: Mary Lawrence of Lancaster, KY; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 29 at the Spring Hill Cemetery by David Crow.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 29 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Charity of one's choice.
