Henry P. Watts, age 83, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center., Harrodsburg, KY.
Born February 15, 1925 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Marcus M. and Verna Preston Watts. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Carol (Dale) Peavler of Lawrenceburg, and Connie Gifford of Frankfort, and two sons: Mark (Robin) Watts of Harrodsburg, and Henry (Misty) Watts, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, one sister: Wilma (Bill) Robinson of Harrodsburg, and seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother: Eddie Watts, and two sisters: Bertha DeShazer, and Clara Mae Puckett.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane and Rick McKinney. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa. Visitation is 5 -8 pm Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008.
Pallbearers are: Henry Watts, Jr., Mark Watts, James Watts, Dale Peavler, Buddy Watts and David Cummins. Honorary bearers: Bill Robinson, Joe Adams, Ezra Hopper, John and David DeShazer, and Loraine Ross.
