Winfield "Bud" Sampson, age 78, Danville Rd., Harrodsburg, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born September 25, 1931 in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late Ernest and Eva Ella (Brown) Sampson. He was a retired KY State Hospital & KY School For The Deaf maintenance employee and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Welch and Brenda (John) Blacketer, both of Harrodsburg; one son, Julian Sampson of Campbellsville, KY; two sisters, Sarah Sampson of Louisville, and Emma Jean (C.L.) Rehkopf of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.Visitation will be Tuesday, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell
