Birdeen Noel White, age 90, Harrodsburg, widow of Charles F. White, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg.
Born January 20, 1920 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Garnett and Elizabeth Gritton Noel. She was an Ombudsman for the Nursing Home Agency Of The Bluegrass and a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church where she served on the board. She was a member and past Regent of the Jane McAfee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, member of the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW, where she had held various offices.
Survivors include: a son, Terry White of Harrodsburg, several Nieces and Nephews, Special Friends: Ricky Sims, Dianna Rose, Blake Rogers, Bill & Judy Sutter, Kristen & Case Noel, Ben Price, and Jean Ann Riley. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 11 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Taylor, Jimmy Owens & Troy Young. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers: Kent Riley, Ben Price, Norman White, Dakota Rogers, David Taylor, Dr. James Tanner. Honorary bearers: members of the Nursing Home Agency Of The Bluegrass for Mercer Co.
Visitation will be Monday, May 10 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
