Obituary of Elizabeth Gaynelle Pinkston

Elizabeth Gaynelle "Nell" Pinkston, age 89, of Harrodsburg, wife of W. T. "Bill" Pinkston, died Saturday at her home after an illness .Born January 5, 1921 in Cornishville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Myrtle Britton Gardner. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where she was a Choir member for some twenty-five years and Juniors Sunday School Teacher for many years; she was a former member of the Cornishville Baptist Church and Bethel Baptist. She was a graduate of Cornishville High School and attended the University of Kentucky. Survivors include: her husband of seventy years: W. T. Pinkston, two daughters: Gayla (Steve) March of Alachua, FL, Sherra (Bill) Hardy of Harrodsburg, KY and one son: David Pinkston of Alacha, FL; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister: Gene Wilham.Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 2 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Wayne Spivey and W. O. Wilham. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.Pallbearers are: Michael Taylor, Tim Taylor, Jim Taylor, Patrick Hardy, Craig Hardy, William J. Hardy, III.Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
