Valeria Mae Kidd, age 76, Harrodsburg, widow of Alfred Kidd, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born January 20, 1934 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillie Burns Horn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church and the Haggin Memorial Hospital Auxillary.
Survivors include: a daughter: Angela Mae Kidd and a son: Rex (Sherri) Kidd both of Harrodsburg, one sister: Bertie Gooch Frances of TN; Grandchildren: Brian Jacob Smalley, Megan Elizabeth Smalley and Brandon Alfred Kidd. She was predeceased by sisters: Mary Lee Trayner, Lois C. Kidd, Laura B. Divine, Alma R. Horn, and Florence Kidd, and a brother: John Horn Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM, Thursday, June 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Reed and Arnold Moon. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Glenn Devine, Clinton Peavler, Richard Smith, Roy Bugg, J. Hugh Phillips, and Donald Logue. Honorary bearers: Willie B. Horn, and Eddie Sherrow.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
