Joyce Ann Nelson, age 69, Harrodsburg, widow of Jack Nelson, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at her home after an illness.
Born August 6, 1940 in Richmond, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Agnes Hill Collins. She was a homemaker and retired K-Mart cashier.
Survivors include: a daughter: Janet (John) Underwood of Harrodsburg, and a son: Jimmy (Rhonda) Nelson of Somerset, four brothers: Neville (Anita) Collins, Kenneth (Anna) Collins both of Lexington, Charles (Joan) Collins of Paris, Tommy (Beverly) Collins of Versailles, a sister: Jane Carol (Larry) DeMarino of Muncie, IN, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a Sister-in-Law: Judith Mueller of Des Plaines, IL.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 15 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Scott Bugg with burial in the Burgin Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be Mark Underwood, John Underwood, Denny Harrington, John Chapa, Darrell Collins and Malcolm Collins.
Visitation will be Monday, June 14 from 5 - 8 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
