Eula J. Freeman, age 74, of Harrodsburg, widow of Willie Roy Freeman, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born July 10, 1935 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Merritt and Martha Hatchell Downey. She was a retired Corning Glass and Phillips Co. employee and a caregiver. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Survivors include: a son: Roy Lynn (Carolyn) Freeman, a sister: Nellie Bugg both of Harrodsburg, a granddaughter: Amber Lynn Ryan; a great grandchild: Calvin Ryan. Predeceased by siblings: Everett Downey, Georgia Downey, and Pearl D. Tyler.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 22 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison with burial in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville.
Visitation will be Monday, June 21 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
