Obituary of Fred D. Overstreet

FRED D. OVERSTREET Fred D. Overstreet, age 98, 1241 Bondville Road, Salvisa, widower of Zoe Rue Overstreet, died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center after a long illness. Born December 6, 1905 in Bondville, KY, he was the son of the late Tom and Sue James Overstreet. He was a graduate of Kavanaugh High School in Anderson Co. and was a retired farmer. Survivors include two daughters, Ann O. Tracy, Lawrenceburg and Charlotte and her husband Howard Fallis, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren Lanny Tracy, Wendy Runnion, Mitzi Fallis, Carol Ann Tracy, and Kirk Fallis; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Fred Overstreet, Jr., a daughter Jane Rue Overstreet, and a son-in-law Carroll Tracy. Memorial graveside services will be conducted at a later date in the Spring Hill Cemetery by Johnny Hockersmith. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice or to the Harrodsburg Health Care Center. The Ransdell Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
