Obituary of Robert Bradley McFatridge

Robert Bradley McFatridge, 81, husband of Marlene Browning McFatridge, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born, April 21, 1929 in Mercer County, to the late Louis F. and Jonnie Lee (Elkin) McFatridge. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a retired employee of Corning Glass, a volunteer for the Salvation Army and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife: Marlene (Browning) McFatridge, daughter: Rita Gayle (Cliff) Lawson of Harrodsburg; two Granddaughters, Brooke Elizabeth Lawson and Madlyn Grace Lawson. Bob was predeceased by three sisters: Ann Hunter Cardini, Joyce Conover, Eleanore Dean and a brother: Louis F. McFatridge Jr.. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday, February 15 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kaywood Morris and Gary Story. Burial, with military rites, will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Seymore Claunch, Randall Darland, Jim Davis, Wayne Russell, Chad Wade and Snyder Dean. Honorary Bearers are: Louis Kerrick, Eugene Devine, Bill Barnett, Jim Ashford, Opal Cigar, Mrs. Elwood Lay, Arnetta Mays, John Mitchell, Martha Anderson and Ralph McCaffin Visitation will be Monday, February 14 from 5 - 8 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Covenant House, Times Square Station, P.O. Box 731 New York, NY 10108-0731.
