Obituary of William T. "Billy" Best

William T. "Billy" Best, age 81, Harrodsburg, husband of Clara Zella Burns Best, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born December 22, 1929 in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late James B. and Vicia (Bottoms) Best. He was a retired farmer and a member of Antioch Methodist Church. He loved to fish, hunt, trap, and spend time with his grandchildren!
Other survivors include: two daughters, Bonnie Jean Pillers and Mary Anne Best, both of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, Ronnie Wayne Best of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Eunice Cocanougher of Harrodsburg, KY; two grandchildren, Leanne Dennis and Morgan Snipes; four great grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, Dustin & Ciara. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Walter, & Edward Best, and one sister, Ada Bishop.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Johnny Hockersmith. Burial will be in the Peter Cemetery, Mackville.
Pallbearers are Larry Devine, Larry Bishop, Jimmy Cocanougher, Charles "Buck" Goode, I. C. Phillips, Chuck Pillers, and Michael Votaw.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 PM, Friday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
