James Thomas Morrissey, age 81, 2354 Lawrence Rd, Marianna, FL, widower of Donna Jean (Minton) Morrissey, died Wed., Feb. 2, 2011.
Born February 25, 1929 in White Plains, NY, he was the son of the late Archibald Leo and Edna Eileen (McKinnley) Morrissey. He was a US Army veteran, a member of the American Motorcycle Association, had worked as a design engineer for Batesville Casket Co. and was a retired KY Corrections Officer.
Survivors include: one daughter, Susan (Scott) Morrison of Marianna, FL; one sister, Joan Marie Morrissey of CA; two grandchildren, James Scott Morrison and Jeremy Barrett Morrison.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Sat., April 2, 2011 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Friends may call from 12 noon until the hour of service.
