Lola Helen Whittaker, age 68, 801 Shannon Ave., Harrodsburg, widow of Garnett Wayne Whittaker and William Bruce Lanham, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.Born June 23, 1942 in Perryville, KY, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Lucille (Burger) Johnson. She was a former Cricketeer and 19th Hole employee, retired Mercer Co. School Bus Driver, and was a member of the Beach Grove Baptist Church.Survivors include: one daughter, Anita Hubbard of Parksville; two sons, Jeff Lanham and Joe (Charlie) Lanham, both of Harrodsburg; six sisters, Nora Sims of Garrard Co., Martha Harlow of Danville, Sue Lamb of Garrard Co., Glenna Sallee of IN, Becky McGinnis of Russell Springs, and Beulah Hourigan of Garrard Co.; two step sons, Jesse Whittaker of Versailles, and Billy Dean Whittaker of Burgin, KY. She was preceded in death by James William Lanham.Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 14 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Junior Field with burial in the Beach Grove Cemetery, Washington Co.Pallbearers are Jimmy Lanham, Mike Jenkins, Steve Jones, Steve Proctor, Clyde Lanham, and Stanley Sanders. Honorary bearers are grandchildren.
