Obituary of Mary Magdaline Elliott

Mary Magdaline Elliott, age 81, Harrodsburg, widow of Carl Elliott, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation, Danville, KY. Born April 12, 1930 in Danville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Asbury and Edna Roberts Byrd. She was a retired production employee of Corning Glass and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Lynn Elliott and a son, Arthur Elliott both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Maxine Bowser of Paragould, AR; one brother, Edward Byrd of Terra Haute, IN; four grandchildren: Jonathan & Hannah Elliott and Dusty Lynn & Shawna Leigh Butler; one great grandchild: Anna Claire. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Mullinix and Evelyn Porter. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 22 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville. Pallbearers are Steve, Stevie, Bill, and John Elliott, Dudley Huffman, and Zach Combs. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
