Betty Jean Gregory, 69, Harrodsburg, wife of Charles Robert Gregory, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Born February 6, 1942 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mable (Phillips) Dearinger. She worked for Burgin Schools and Mercer County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include: her husband: Charles Robert Gregory, three daughters: Susie Katheryne (Hobert) Riley of Salvisa, Mary Jane Richmond of Paris, Becky (Tommy) Dowell of Harrodsburg, and three sons: Joe Keith (Sheena) Peel of Paris, Jerry Wayne (Paula) Peel of Danville, Charles Michael (Hazel Shannon) Gregory of Harrodsburg; three sisters: Maxine Rigney of Memphis, Imogene Major of Maysville, Darlene Carmichael of Owensboro; and one brother: Donnie Derringer of Harrodsburg; Fifteen Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews. Betty was predeceased by a brother: Dean Derringer.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Tuesday, May 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Ernie Carmichael. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Michael Louallen, Paul Dowell, Jeffery Ramsey, Hobert Riley Jr., Roy Cox Jr., Shawn Bozeman, Robert Louallen.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17 from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
