Harold D. Darland, 73, Harrodsburg, husband of Betty V. Logue Darland, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Born April 4, 1938 in Harrodsburg, to the late Marshall and Mable (Whitehouse) Darland. He served twelve years in the National Guard and was a meat cutter at Save A Lot. Harold was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Betty V (Logue) Darland, and three sons: Michael Todd Darland of Lexington, Kelly Lynn Darland of Perryville and Ralph Christopher Darland , Italy; one brother: Marshall Darland of Harrodsburg and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter: Melissa Darland.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 4 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bobby Logue and Bob Defoor & Todd Darland. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Robert Logue, Howard Logue, Glenn Logue, Travis Logue, Gabriel Logue, Isaac Matherly, Steven Wiley and Michael Lewis.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
