Elsie Jane Lewis, 76, Harrodsburg, wife of Charles Lewis, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at her home in Harrodsburg.
Born April 3, 1935 in Anderson County, KY, to the late Amos and Lona (Waldridge) Harley. She was a retired Corning Glass inspector and a member of Calvary Baptist. Survivors include: her husband: Charles Lewis, a daughter: Georgetta (Stephen) Bailey, two sisters: Ruby Onita (Chester) Travillian, Vernetta (J.L.) Walker, all of Harrodsburg, KY; Grandson, Bruce (Charissa) Wade; Granddaughter, Angelia (Matt) Swabey; three Step Grandchildren, Aaron (Ashley) Bailey, Stephanie (Brett) Anness and Adina Bailey; four great Grandchildren, Mia & Alexa Wade and Bliss & Jacob Swabey; a Step Great Grandchild, Rese Bailey. Elsie was predeceased by a daughter: Angelia Sue Lewis, two brothers: Milton And George Harley and two sisters: Vertie Durr and Bonnie Watts.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, August 5 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lester Caldwell and Kenny Queener. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Larry Yeager, Tony Pinkston, Nelson Cline, David Wade, Charlie Baker, Mark Walker, Jr. Travillian and Bob Richmond.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 4 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
