Ernest Dale Lane, age 67, 123 Herrington Heights, Lancaster, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born April 15, 1944 in Lancaster, KY, he was the son of the late John Jason and Ruby (Reed) Lane. He was owner of Lane Dry Walling.
Survivors include: four sisters, Bonnie Woods, Lyda Maupin, and Ina Crank, all of Lancaster, and Jo Ann Prewitt of Richmond; one brother, Elwood Lane of Lancaster; a fiancée, Rita Rhodus of Lancaster.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Woods Family Cemetery in Garrard County by Allen Sparks.
Pallbearers are: Allen Weston, Kevin Rhodus, Donnie Woods, Elwood Lane, Sonny Coulter and Gary Lemay.
