Kathy Stratton, age 55, Harrodsburg, wife of Drew Pearson Stratton, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born June 13, 1956 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Buelah Sims Blacketer.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Amenda April (Heriberto) Stratton of Springfield, and two sons: Rocky Dale (Amber) Stratton, and Jason McDaniel (Stephanie) Stratton both of Harrodsburg; two sisters: Elizabeth Butler of Nicholasville, and Lora (Troy) Smith of Lawrenceburg; two brothers: Bobby (Jo) Blacketer and Connie Blacketer both of Harrodsburg. She is predeceased by four brothers: Billy, James, Terry & Roy Blacketer, Jr. and two sisters: Jean Adams & Margaret Blacketer.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 25 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Joey Turpin. Burial will be in the Battle Cemetery, Springfield.
Pallbearers are: Heriberto Escamilla, Jeff Blacketer, John Blacketer, Wayne Blacketer, Bob Blacketer, Lynn Releford, Matthew Shannon, Gary Chesser, Chris Stevens, , ,
Visitation will be Sunday, September 25 from 12 noon at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
