Kayla Marie Rakes, age 19, of Harrodsburg, died Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Born June 2, 1992 in Danville she was the daughter of Gary Wayne King and Teresa Kay Rakes Lewis.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Anna Leigh Ayden Conley, two sisters: Jessica Leann King and Kimberly Dawn King, three brothers: Jordan Randall Walker, Joseph Kyle King, and Zachary Tyler King, her fiancé: Nhemiah Jacob Conley, Paternal Grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Gary King, Maternal Grandmother: Laura Snow and Grandfather the late Daryl Snow, Maternal Great Grandmother: Aileen Bradley.
Funeral services will be 01:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Moore with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers: Chris Gribbins, Brian Gribbins, Terry Parnell, David King, Eric Newby, Chris Johns, Brian Cloyd, and Ben Bradley. Honorary bearers: Bobby Bradley, Timmy Griffin, Steven Burlison, and Blake King.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25 from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
