William T. Pinkston, age 92, Harrodsburg, widower of Elizabeth Gaynelle Gardner Pinkston, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at the St. Vincent Heart Center, Indianapolis, IN. Born March 6, 1919 in Washington County, he was the son of the late A.H. "Arlie" and Nante Belle (Graham) Pinkston. He served during World War II in the Army. He was the owner/operator of Gardner & Pinkston. He served 5 years with the Fish and Wildlife Department, he was a KY Colonel, was a life member of American Legion and the VFW; a member of the Central States, Green River and Ohio Archaeological Societies and the Genuine Indian Relic Society. Survivors include: two daughters: Gayla (Steve) March of Alachua, FL, Sherra (Bill) Hardy of Harrodsburg, KY; and one son: David Pinkston of Apachua, FL; Brother In Law, Bill Wilham; Nine Grandchildren; Twenty Great Grandchidren and Two Great Great Grandchidren. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Monday, November 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by W.O. Wilham and Wayne Spivey. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Michael Taylor, Robert Patrick Hardy, Tim Taylor, Craig Thomas Hardy, William J. Hardy III, James Taylor, Kevin Groff, Gary Noel, Bob Franklin, Al Taylor, Steve March, William J. Hardy Jr. Visitation will be Sunday, November 20 from 5-8pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Harrodsburg Baptist Church, 302 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
