Loyd Phillips, Sr., age 66, Harrodsburg, husband of Norma Worthington Phillips, died Saturday, November 19, 2011. Born June 12, 1945 in Marion County, he was the son of the late John Roy and Geneva Carrier Phillips. Loyd enjoyed collecting old cast iron cars. Other survivors include: three daughters: Donna (Richard) Lane, Lisa (Tim) Banks, and Robyn (James) Watts, and one son: Lloyd (Erin) Phillips, Jr. all of Harrodsburg, four sisters: Shelby (William) Devine, Mary Phillips both of Harrodsburg, Brenda (Victor) Andrade of Danville, and Rose Phillips of Harrodsburg, and five brothers: Johnnie (Patricia) Phillips, Danny (Shirley) Phillips of Harrodsburg, Bobby (Norma) Phillips of Lexington, Terry (Laura) Phillips and Connie Phillips both of Harrodsburg, Grandchildren: Erica, Derek, Matthew, Morgan, Levi, Connor, Gracie, Christian, Lexi, and one Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, at the Immanuel Baptist Church by Dr. Harold Best with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Chad, Chris, Mike, and Kenny Worthington, Joey Moore, Scotty Phillips, Tim Devine and Richard Lane. Honorary bearers: Dr. Shahzad, Gary Royalty, Zack Rice, Nurses at Haggin Memorial Hospital and Bible Alive Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Monday, November 21 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, and after 10 AM Tuesday at the Church. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice, P.O.
