Lyle Amos Weaver, age 87, 857 Bellows Mill Rd., Harrodsburg, husband of Barbara Ann Royalty Weaver, died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at his home. Born April 24, 1924 in Tunnelton, WV, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Gertrude Alice (Wright) Weaver. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, and was retired from Shawnee Farm maintenance. Survivors other than his wife include: two daughters, Wendi (Brian) Allen of Harrodsburg, KY, Lyla Mae (Rick) Kepler of Canton, OH; and three sons, Edward "Gus" (Kim) Weaver of Harrodsburg, Larry Eugene (Debie) Weaver of Massillon, OH, and James Robert (Karen) Weaver of Salvisa; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Gordon, Glen, Norman, and Arnett Weaver, and two sisters Hilda Rhodes and Delores Shaffer. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wed., Nov. 30, 2011, the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and Kenneth Meredith. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, with military honors. Visitation 4-8 PM Tues. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are Ronnie Bennett, Ryan Weaver, Derek Patterson, Coby Taylor, Trevor Allen and Curry Haven.
