Brenda McCrystal, age 67, Somerset, formerly of Harrodsburg, wife of Harold F. "Buddy" McCrystal, Sr., died Sunday. Born July 24, 1944 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Willa Lewis Shirley. Other survivors include: four daughters: Katie Elizabeth (Mike) Warner of Mt. Sterling, Leann (Nick) Disney of Corbin, Valerie McCrystal of Danville, Lana McCrystal of Somerset, and two sons: Harold F. "Bubba" (Melissa) McCrystal, Jr. of Somerset, Floyd Michael McCrystal of Somerset; one sister: Jane (Darrell) Pinkston of Harrodsburg, and two brothers: Floyd "Buddy" (Lee) Shirley of Harrodsburg, David (Rita) Shirley of Mt. Washington, Sister-in-Law, Flora Alice (Bill) Montgomery of Harrodsburg; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Chad Humphrey, Kevin Shirley, Davey Shirley, Timmy Shirley, Tommy Shirley, John Wayne Stephens, Billy Gambel, and Mike Warner. Honorary: Harold McCrystal, III., Brad McCrystal, Richard McCrystal, Tyler McCrystal and Kallie McCrystal, Whitney McCrystal, Braden McCrystal, Brenna Disney and Shawn Disney. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10 from 10 am - 2 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Memorial contributions may be sent to The Family, c/o Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E.
