Delbert Calvin Milburn, 78, widower of Bonnie McGlone Milburn, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Lebanon Hospital. Born April 4, 1938, in East Texas, KY, he was the son of the late W. H. and Gertrude Pendegrast Milburn. He was former a Corning Inc. employee and owner of The Cobbler's Bench, was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, but had attended Indian Hills Christian Church. Del attended Georgetown College on a football scholarship. Survivors include: one daughter: Kim M. Parrott of Vacaville, CA; two sisters Iona Williams of TN and Nellie Haydon of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Joshua Parrott and Jordan Parrott. He is predeceased by six siblings, Mary Lou Harmon, Garnett, Morris, Bill H. T. and Gilbert Milburn. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers: Benny Haydon, Brandon Steele, Kelly Harmon, Bruce Milburn, David Crutcher, Nathan Dossett, Brent Newby, Kenny Harmon. Honorary Bearers: Joshua Parrott and Jordan Parrott. Memorial may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 465 E. High St., Lexington, KY 40507. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
