Mildred Pugh, 91, Salvisa, widow of Dean Pugh, died Thursday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born May 26, 1925, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Mamie Lee (Downey) Watts. She was a retired Service Representative for Bellsouth & AT&T, and was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, the AT&T Pioneers, and the Communication Workers of America. Mildred is survived by: one daughter, Candace "Candy" Pugh of Salvisa; one sister, Jane (C.H.) McRay of Harrodsburg; one brother, John Gary (Judy) Curtsinger of Harrodsburg; one daughter-in-law, Sue Pugh of Harrodsburg; one granddaughter, Lee Wood (Nick) Goodlett of Harrodsburg; three great grandchildren, Dean, Linlee, & Lexey Goodlett of Harrodsburg. Mildred was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dean "Bobby" Pugh, and four siblings, Jack & Isaac Watts, Hazel Stamper, and Linda Berry. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Seth Widner. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 11:00 AM Monday until the hour of service. Pallbearers will be: David Gibson, Aaron Sallee, Adam Sallee, andrew Sallee, Kasey McRay and Kameron McRay. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 502 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
