Joyce, Darian, Luke, Johnnie, Brenda, Johnnie, and Sommer, my heart goes out to you during this time of loss. As one of my students in high school, Shannon was always so kind and funny; when you and he became my next door neighbor, I became acquainted with him all over again. We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you. Doug and I worked with Shannon for several months and he brought joy and laughter to the each job. I loved listening to his stories and shared many of ours with him.
I hadn't seen him in several years, but a little over a month ago I saw him at Walmart. It was such a pleasure to talk to him again. Within a few days we became friends on Facebook.
When I think of Shannon I can't help but smile. He brought a lot of joy into our lives at a time when nothing was going the way we had planned. We are thankful that we have blessed to have known Shannon.
