Obituary of Joan E. Watts
Joan E. Watts, 76, Harrodsburg, widow of Connie Watts, died Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Danville Center For Health & Rehab. Born May 5, 1941, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Idarena (Bottoms) Elliott. She was a retired machinist for Bendix Mfg., Frankfort. Joan enjoyed baking, sewing, and crafts.
Survivors include: two daughters, Angie (Jimmy) McCall of Lancaster, and Diane (Jeff) Shropshire of Georgetown; two sons, Don (Lynette) Casey of Harrodsburg, and Randy Casey of Lexington; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Elliott.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Darrell Hahn. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 12 Noon until the hour of service on Monday at Ransdell's.
Pallbearers are: Michael P. & Mason Huffman, Jacob Cox, Dakota Miracle and Jeff & Corey Shropshire.
