Obituary of Eddie D. Hardin

Eddie D. Hardin, 79, Harrodsburg, husband of Polly Blacketer Hardin, died Monday, January 22, 2018, at the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Ctr., Springfield, KY.

Born October 13, 1938, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Clyde and Bessie (Phillips) Hardin. Eddie was a retired Trucker and was a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge #125.

Other survivors include: five daughters, Beverly Smyth of Harrodsburg, Judy Thompson of Nicholasville, Sharon Browning of Harrodsburg, Vickie Prather of Harrodsburg, and Diane Wohner of Springfield; two sons: Joey Hardin of Burgin and Clint Hardin of Harrodsburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara and Jean; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Joan Devine and Floyd Hardin.

Funeral services will be 2PM Thur., Jan 25, 2018, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane and Danny Broce. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Masonic Rites will be held 7:30PM Wed., Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
