Gerald "Lee" Edwards, 83, former co-owner of Lee's Suzuki, Harrodsburg, KY passed away June 14, 2023 at home. He is survived by his wife Linda Lee Edwards, son Mark (Denise) Edwards and daughter Lamona (Thomas) Norwood all of Harrodsburg, KY. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Kelsey (Justin) Patterson and Avery (Bret) Chipman and two great-granddaughters, Vera and Harriet Patterson. He was born in Mt. Victory, KY. He was the son of the late Clifton and Delma Edwards of Somerset, KY and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Somerset, KY. Lee was preceded in death by his step-brother, Gerald Phelps.
He was a graduate of Somerset High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. Lee worked at General Electric in Cincinnati and Louisville as a machinist and tool and die maker. In 1976, he and Linda opened a motorcycle dealership in Harrodsburg where they spent the next 40 years. Lee served on the Board of Directors for Heritage Community Trust Bank in Danville, KY for several years.
Lee was also a member of the Wheels of Time Car Club in Lawrenceburg, KY and enjoyed spending time with his classic car friends.
