Ronnie Smith, 84, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Mary Rose Brown Smith, died Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born May 27, 1939, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Carl and Georgia (Terhune) Smith. He was a retired supervisor for Corning Glass and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his wife: Mary Rose Smith, include two daughters: Pamela Rose Brown (Scott) of Harrodsburg and Rhonda Rae Doris Griggs (Bob) of Lexington, Grandsons, Lucas Stamps (Jenny) and Logan Doris (Kennedy); two Great Grandsons: Graham Stamps and Shepard Doris. Ronnie was preceded in death by a sister: Carolyn S. Devine. Visitation will be 11 am - 2 pm Monday July 31at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and will lead up the Funeral service at 2 pm conducted by Terry Morrison. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbesarers are Lucas Stamps, Logan Doris, Scott Brown, Bob Griggs, Tom Potts, Larry D. Camic, David Devine, and Troy Lands. Memorial donations are asked to be sent to: the Harrodsburg Community Church, 1501 Danville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or Centenary Methodist Church, 1441 Perryville Rd, Danville, KY 40422.
