Katherine “Kittye” Dean, 97, Harrodsburg, KY, died Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at her home. Born September 10, 1926, in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late A. T. and Gladys (Sallee) Dean, Sr.. She was a former Lab Technician for Brown & Williamson, had worked in the Jefferson Co. School System, and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg. Survivors include: two sisters, Nora Black and Fatima Dean, both of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, A. T. (Marian) Dean, Jr. of Harrodsburg, KY; several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be11:00 AM, Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Fr. Danny Schwendeman. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1125 Danville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330, or to one's favorite charity.
